It was amazing. A perfectly sized kitchen with everything you need, a heated pool, extra blankets, and a perfect view of the ocean. Literally walk through one doorway and bam! Theres the ocean. Its amazing, and such a comfortable spot. The bathrooms are stocked with hand soap and toilet paper, and the towels, trash bags, and tissues are all kept up. Definitely staying here again when I take a vacation again.

It was my first vacation in years so I was excited to get back down to Florida. A good friend of mine, who also happens to be one of the locals, suggested that I try Far Horizons. I’ve stayed at other places along the beach but have never stayed here before. Just my luck, I snagged the last room available and scored with a gulf view room with a balcony (#25). The room was clean and I loved that there was a little kitchenette with a full-sized fridge. The place was well maintained and the staff was helpful & friendly. The location was great and the regulars who happened to be there during my stay were awesome and very welcoming. This place isn’t fancy but it had all the amenities I needed which made for a wonderful & relaxing vacation. I will definitely be back again next year!

We've been coming here every year now for the past four years. If you're a normal, everyday person and not a snob, you'll love this place! Far Horizons is an older building. It's only two stories and has limited rooms, I think there are like 30 or 40 total rooms. Only 6 of them face the ocean, two of which have a walk out balcony on the second floor and two of which have a walkout on the first floor to the main patio. We have rented one of the balcony rooms each time we visit. The views are amazing. The back side of the hotel is what faces the ocean and beach and is where you'll find the fairly large patio with 4 covered tables, chairs, and loungers. The building is old, and the room we rent at least is decorated ala early 1990s, but things are clean, they work, and the room overall is comfortable, just don't expect the Ritz Carlton. :) This isn't that kind of place. It's one of those "holes in the wall" kind of places that only people that have stayed here or locals know about. Each room is like an efficiency or studio apartment. Theu have full kitchens (small) with a full-size fridge, stove, oven, and microwave. Ours has a coffee pot, dishes, etc. We always come in the first or second d week of September, and the whole local area is pretty quiet. North Reddington beach is amazing, clean, doesn't smell like fish (like some other, "famous" beaches do), and is very well maintained by the local park district. There are plenty of great food choices in and around North Reddington and Treasure Island, and John's Pass is a quick 5 minute drive south if you like boutique shopping. We are from the Chicago area, and this has become our yearly home away from home destination. They treat us well, and we only need a 100 deposit for the room each year, and we can pay it over time until we come down again. I love this place, and I highly recommend anyone coming to Florida to give it a shot. You won't be disappointed. 9/10, will continue to come here vs. spending 100s more at the double tree two buildings away. Oh, the cost for the two weeks is around 190 a night for the second floor balcony. I've added a few photos of the view from the patio. All of the other images people have posted are accurate. :)

I wish I knew how to describe this place better, but it reminded me of when my Dad took us to the beach in the 80s. There can't be more than 20 rooms. My kids made friends immediately. Everyone was so friendly, and you step out of your room onto the beach. We could walk to breakfast. There was a great coffee place with a walk up window a block from the place. It was a perfect weekend getaway with the family.

This quiet little setup is an excellent little getaway right on the beach. It's owned by a condo association, not a big hotel chain. The rooms have two double beds, showers, kitchenette with sink, small stove and full size fridge. All the convenience of home.

Small complex, two floors with a swimming pool in the center and a breezeway to the beach. There are lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas on the patio by the beach and tables and chairs in the breezeway. It's cute and comfortable. On the down side, there are no elevators, no restrooms by the pool, and steps down to the beach so it's not really handicap accessible.

Far horizons is a wonderful home away from home. The location and the price made our vacation perfect. The pool and property are well kept, beach chairs, loungers and laundry available. plenty of shade if you need a break from the sun under the umbrellas. I’m so grateful for the 8 days here at far horizons. I plan on returning for years to come.

We stayed 8/21 to 8/26 in #4, a pool view. The facility is well maintained and the room layout made good use of the space. The kitchenette had everything we needed and a longer stay would be no problem. The staff was always helpful and pleasant. We look forward to a return visit.
